The Knicks have got have two years to get LeBron James convinced that they can be a title contender. His Cleveland Cavaliers have proved showed New York they might be one right now. James made a score of 26 points before sitting out the fourth quarter, and the Cavaliers quickly played the game to charge-up New York out of the game in a 119-101 win on Tuesday night. James’ future was the headline. His team mates have big goals for the present.

James told after the match that he doesn’t get caught up in it. He added that they hear it and see it every day.  But is less bothered about the rumours and are looking forward for the future business. The team, according to James is not at all worried about what’s going on. He said that as a leader, his prime priority is to win an NBA championship.

Delonte West added 16 points and Wally Szczerbiak  made 15 for the Cavaliers, who leads by as many as 34. They made the highest point total of the season with seven players reaching out double figures.

Fans of James, who are longing to watch him play in New York, got to learn how good his Cleveland team is in the present day. The Cavaliers turned it into a blow out while James made a grand first rest to start the second quarter, and improved the NBA’s third-best record to 11-3.

Quentin Richardson scored 22 points, while debutant Tim Thomas and newcomer made 16 for the Knicks, who had lost for the fourth time in five games and had fallen to 7-7.

James madehis first visit to Madison Square Garden this season came just after Knicks making a pair of trades that cleared enough salary cap space for a potential run at him in free agency in the summer of 2010.

New Argentina coach Diego Maradona will find it hard to count on Lionel Messi for the national team’s upcoming games as an agreement between the country’s soccer federation and his Spanish club exists.
On Thursday the former Argentine soccer legend met with the FC Barcelona player during a European tour.
Messi, who is known among the soccer world as one of the world’s best attackers, will not not be there in the list of players for the first game in charge. The first game will be an exhibition against Scotland on Nov. 19. Messi also wont be playing the next match against France in February. The agreement between the Argentine soccer federation and Barcelona is preventing Messi from playing. The 21-year-old star had led his country to the gold medal at the Beijing Olympics.

Maradona’s first competitive game in charge will be a South American World Cup qualifier at Venezuela in March, where Messi is expected to pad for Argentina. Maradona had a talk with Messi that lasted for about 40 minutes alongside Argentina manager Carlos Bilardo. Maradona said, he is not interested inshooting right ahead of anyone and looking forward for an amicable settlement of issues.

Maradona, who moved to Liverpool later to meet with Javier Mascherano, said the trip to Barcelona served its purpose. Messi had told the soccer legend that he wanted “to play every game.” Maradona is also expected to meet with Barcelona president Joan Laporta after his return from Brussels, Belgium.

Maradona, who was appointed as the new coach of Argentina national side from Alfio Basile on Tuesday, dined with several of Real Madrid’s four Argentine players on Wednesday. He may move out for a trip abroad on team business. He has created a stir by stripping Javier Zanetti of the captaincy in favour of Mascherano. He is also expected to meet Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez in England before departing to Munich, Germany.
