A battle of the titans !
![]() |
Two of the most dominant teams in the game of Rugby will be fighting it out on March 8th at Croke Park, Dublin. The two teams in question are Wales and Ireland. Wales has been considered the underdogs in this game and Mark Jones mentioned that although there is not a lot that you could choose between the teams, the hostile Irish crowd and the home advantage that Ireland will enjoy would be key reasons to the end result of the game.
Wales, a team in form is chasing their second Triple Crown in 20 years but their record in Dublin is something they want to change. They haven’t won in Dublin since 2000. Both these teams had suffered a lot of criticism especially after their early exit in the World Cup, so both of them will be pepped up to beat the other.
In case of the Welsh team, their new coach, Warren Gatland, has been like an angel to them and under his guidance they have won three consecutive games. Ireland on the other hand are confident and they believe that they can pull it off against this Welsh team. They would want to prove to the world that they have it in them to be world champions. The Welsh can expect a “hostile” crowd, especially when they are targeting the second grand slam in four years.
