Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova, the semi-retired Russian professional tennis player is in news more for her physical beauty and off court gossips than her tennis records. Born on 7 June 1981in Moscow, this glamour doll of tennis hit headlines for her glomour shows and still reamin a hot subject at various internet search engines. Kournikove was in 8th poition in the world ranking in 2000. She along with Martina Hingis lifted the Doubles Grand Slam titles in Australia in 1999 and 2002. Serious back and spinal problems have forced her to stay away from the courts for past few years.

Evebn thouh a Russian by birth, her parents migrated to the U.S. soon after her birth and she currently resides in Miami Beach, Florida. She was able to grab a prime position among the list of top players in a short time and reached the semi-fianls of Wimbledon in 1997, but lost to the Martina Hingis by a score of 6–3, 6–2.

Even though she had not played any professional matches since 2003, is a familiar face in charitable exhibition matches.She is the current spokesperson of K-Swiss. As she is the favourite of gossip columns, her marital status has always invited attarction. She was linked with ice hockey player Pavel Bure, and Sergei Fedorov from time to time. Anna Kournikova is endorsing various brands including Berlei shock absorber sports bras, and Omega watches. She has also appered on the front covers of various fashion magazines in scantly clad poses from time to time.
