Takeover Target will race at Randwick in Sydney this autumn. Trainer Joe Janiak confirmed the horse race will be a definite starter in the TJ Smith Stakes 1200m race on April 26. TJ Smith will be on the way to the Kris Flyer Sprint in Singapore later on May 18.

“I’ve always had the TJ Smith in mind but then Singapore stopped up on the three weeks quarantine and we can’t do both, unless they bring that quarantine period back to two weeks,” Janiak said.

Other upcoming events are The All-Aged Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on May 3; the BTC Cup (1200m) on May 10 and the Doomben 10,000 (1350m).
