Imran Khan Dashing All Rounder behind Pakistan Success

Imran Khan Niazi, popularly known as Imran Khan, is a former Pakistani cricketer who played international cricket for three decades. The right handed batsman and right-arm fast bowler is hailed by many as the world’s best all-rounder till date.
The Pakistan cricket legend made his test debut on 3 June 1971 v England and ODI debut on 31 August 1974 v England. His last test inning was on 7 January 1992 v Sri Lanka and last ODI inning on 25 March 1992 v England. In a career spanning 88 tests and 175 ODI, Imran Khan scored 3,807 and 3,709 runs, respectively besides taking 362 wickets in tests and 182 in ODI cricket.
He was also instrumental in finding talented youngsters and assigning new responsibilities to them so that they can grow up to bring glory to Pakistan.
Imran Khan was shy during his early years as the captain but soon went on to become one of the world’s most successful, tactical, aggressive, yet calm captain. Imran was at his peak when Pakistan played the 1992 Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. The Pakistan team, under Imran’s captaincy, won a magical World Cup final and Imran became the centre of all eyes with his swinging fast bowling, tactical skills, and measured attacking batting display. Pakistan thumped England in 1992 Cricket World Cup final and Imran had the pleasure of taking the last wicket to fall and was well supported by all his teammates, especially Inzamam-ul-Haq, Moin Khan, Javed Miandad, and Wasim Akram.
