Arsenal gave a dismal performance at the JJB stadium on Sunday. They were held to a goalless draw by Wigan in the Barclays Premier League. This was the gunners chance to make the lead between them an Manchester United to four points, now they are just two points at the top of the table and Man U still have a game in hand.
There is something about this kid that dazzles everybody and of late he has matured so much that ManU will have one goal from his boot, every second match. Now that’s consistency!!
The result was in front of everyone at Emirates Stadium when all of Arsenal fans hang their heads in shame. Arsenal produced another late show at Emirates Stadium as Kolo Toure rescued a point against Middlesbrough - but it was not enough to send the Gunners back to the top of the Premier League.
The San Siro stadium saw one of the finest football matches where the world witnessed the exit of AC Milan from the Champions League. AC Milan is the current holder of the cup, and with their exit, we will see anew champion. Milan were held to a 0-2 score by Arsene Wenger’s young guns. Cesc Fabregas gave a magnificent performance by clinching the first goal for Arsenal in the last minutes of the game The Spain midfielder picked up the ball, dodged Gennaro Gattuso and hammered a 25-yard strike into the bottom right corner. Adebayor scored the second goal in added time, following a fine run and low cross from Walcott along the goal line, to write a glorious night for the Gunners. Arsenal is the first English club to beat Milan at home. This result is a good boost for the flagging morale of the Gunners who are down to only one point difference between them at the top of the English Premier League and Manchester United.
