Yuvraj Singh, suffering from acute back pain may have sit back for the second one-day match against England. This left hand batsman on Monday had lead the Indian side to a glorious victory. Yuvraj complained of back stress during Friday’s first limited-overs international and had to use a runner. He scored an unbeaten 138 that helped India clinch a 158-run victory in the first match. But India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has said that Yuvraj is improving. But Dhoni however was not ready to say whether he will bat for the second one-dayer at the central Indian city of Indore. According to Dhoni, the decision will be taken only by Monday morning.

“There’s considerable improvement in Yuvraj’s condition, but we’ll take a final call on him just before the start of play,” said Dhoni at Indore to the reporters on Sunday.

Indian captain has said that Indian side will come to the field without pace spearhead Ishant Sharma. Sharma has also missed the opening limited-overs international in Rajkot. He is suffering from an ankle sprain that got him during the final test match against Australia.

Ishant Sharma was named player of the four-test series against Australia, in which India made a magnificent victory of 2-0. This series win has boosted the confidence of the Indian side. According to Dhoni, Ishant is virtually out of this match. Dhoni wants his players to guard against complacency after making a big win in the first match. He feels that England is a small team and should not be taken lightly.

Dhoni added that Indian team is always wary of becoming complacent. He said that ,” the current England bowling attack is superior to the one that visited India two years ago.

During the last English visit to India in 2006, the Test series had ended in a 1-1 draw, but Indian had posted a series win in the limited-overs internationals by 5-1.

“England’s a good side. It has a very good attack and we’re not taking it lightly,” Dhoni said.
